Visit from Sr Marian Batho, CSJ

August 30, 2016Archdiocesan Delegate for Religious, Sr Marian Batho, CSJ, paid us a friendly visit. As she has done a number of times in the past years, Sr Marian came for Mass, and afterwards the community gathered with her for coffee and conversation in the Chapter Room.
We have had a number of opportunities to collaborate with Sr Marian in her capacity as Delegate for Religious, especially through prayer in support of Archdiocesan events and initiatives, including Fiat!, a support group for women discerning religious life, marriage preparation programs, dinners and retreats for boys and men discerning a call to priesthood, and a bi-monthly day of special prayer in support of women in crisis pregnancies. Occasionally we have also sent members of our community to speak at Archdiocesan events at Sr Marian's request.
The community is grateful for this meaningful connection with the Archdiocese and its vocation and evangelization initiatives.
