This year's reflections were written by one of the sisters.
Celebration is a form of gratitude. Over the last months we have been privileged to participate in several celebrations honoring our foundation and history, in addition we celebrated the solemn profession of two wonderful sisters, we also participated in the joy of three jubilarians and two of our elderly sisters made their journey to heaven. These events have brought life-affirming hope, joy and a renewal in faith. A year of extraordinary blessings.
It seems appropriate that I dedicate the reflections on this year’s O Antiphons for the next eight days to the praise of God’s goodness and love for us.
But it was a fruitless endeavor. No useful thought occurred to me. Staring at my blank sheet I realized that I was stuck. I implored the Holy Spirit with urgency and anxiety. His message was clear: Rather die than turn back! You must go forward! So, I changed gears and followed in the direction the Spirit was leading me, wonderfully and wildly.
